A behind-the-scenes film about the creation of They Shall Not Grow Old. Commissioned by Imperial War Museums.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson has transformed First World War footage from Imperial War Museums’ extensive archive using modern production techniques for his film They Shall Not Grow Old. The film tells the story of what it was like to be a soldier during the war – from what they ate and wore to what it was like to participate in battles and tend to the wounded. Footage has been colourised, converted to 3D and transformed using modern production techniques.
“I would highly recommend TMAX Films. Full of enthusiasm and creativity, their work for us has been exceptional.”
